Character Name: Zoe Longfellow

Job: Lounge singer at the Lodge.
How did they find Heritage Lake?: When she was with her papa and he was doing a story about Heritage.
Appearance: Zoe pretty much stands at 5'5 and damn proud of it. She's got luscious brown hair which can be seen curly at times or straight, it all depends on her mood. Zoe's got amber colored eyes which sparkle when she's happy and she use think about better times. She's got at least 5 different smiles a fake smile when she's just trying to be nice; a smirk when she's being sarcastic; a grin when she thinks about her younger days; a stage smile when she's singing to customers; and a heartfelt smile when she's truly happy.
Zoe is pretty much seen dressed in something casual and comfortable except when she's on stage. She likes the comfort and all of jeans and a t-shirt, but she knows when to dress up. Usually she doesn't wear makeup unless she's on stage singing, but she's fond of lipstick and lip gloss. Zoe's sexy and she's even got this simple beauty about her that shines through.

Personality: Zoe's pretty much your average gal. She tries to act aloof, but if you know her well enough she's actually pretty friendly and nice. Zoe can be a sarcastic one and witty at best. She could be quite the charmer if she aims to be and is pretty much like her papa or so she's told. She's the type who can pretty much hold her own and won't back down from challenge. Zoe pretty much thrives on challenges and welcomes them with open arms.
Known to be adventurous and full of talent she shines best when she's on stage. She uses singing as her way to work through her feelings and if you actually sat down and listened to her you could understand her more. She's got this tough exterior at times, but when she sings, she's such a different person.
Zoe knows how to blend in with the crowd and go with the flow. It's her adventurous side of her that gives her a rush and keeps her on her toes. The thrill of a rush is often what gets her in trouble though. She can be pretty protective of the people she cares about and won't take shit from anyone. She's the type to be honest with you and will clearly say exactly what's on her mind, though it's gotten her in trouble at times. Smart, funny, sassy, strong, and understanding is who she plainly is.
History: “We are getting a divorce,” her mama said to her when she was young. Zoe could remember hearing those words as if it were yesterday. Zoe was too young to understand why her parents would do such a thing. Zoe wanted to believe in happily ever after as a kid, but this pretty much changed everything for her. Since her parents divorce, she started being rebellious because this so called happy family she felt protected in was no more.
Before the divorce, life was different for her. Zoe pretty much looked up to her parents and did her best to make them proud. She was daddy’s little girl and her moms darling angel. She had many fun times during her youth which she shared with her older brother. Family outings, playing tag football with her bro., and endless movie marathons. Zoe could remember the joys, laughter, and excitement she felt when her family was actually being a family.
After the divorce, it was full of all this legal stuff about who would take Zoe and her brother. Now even though she loved her mama or so she thought she did, Zoe wanted to stay with her papa. Part of her was still mad her mama did that to the family, and wondered how she could just call it quits. Since things don’t go according to plan, it was obvious her mama would get custody of the kids and that she did. When her mama got custody she did everything to ensure her ex-husband wouldn't be able to see his children.
“Daddy’s little girl is all grown up,” he would say when she entered high school. It was his way of trying to bond with his daughter. He was allowed visiting rights but after that one visit he disappeared, by then she got use to the fact things were different. Zoe did her damn hardest and graduated from high school making her feel some sort of accomplishment.
When college came around she saw her papa again. “Sorry, I couldn’t be there Zoe,” he would say to her. Zoe knew he meant her high school graduation, but at this point she didn’t care he was right in front of her and that’s what mattered. The rest of her college experience was interesting, Zoe gained an interest in business and four years later got her degree. Finally she felt she was actually doing something right for a change.
After college she thought she’d establish some sort of relationship with her papa. The past was the past and it was something she didn’t want to get stuck in. They’d have lunches together and all those bonding things fathers and daughters do. Finally it looked like they were starting to make up for some lost times. Just when the two pretty much were close again, he pretty much messes that up by getting into her best friends pants. Now she pretty much gets disgusted every time she sees him and wonders when she’ll actually be able to trust people again. Regardless of the fact she tries to ignore his existence his presence is like a 7 eleven, he’s everywhere. As much as she’d like to forgive him that wasn’t going to happen any time soon.
Fears: The unknown, getting buried alive, and loneliness.
Desires: Love, sex, and boose.
One Secret: She stole a car when she was 17 just for fun.
